AdmissionsProspective students and parents are required to spend a one-day observation period prior to enrollment of the child. The parents will initially meet with the director of the school to discuss their child’s needs, and to learn about the educational programs offered. While the parents and Director are in conference, the student is placed in his or her prospective classroom for teacher observation. At the conclusion of the conference, the child will be tested to determine the extent of the problems that may exist, and establish an educational level in the basic academic areas. The test results and teacher observations are reviewed with the parents, and a decision is made concerning enrollment of the child. Harbor School does not discriminate in admission to its programs on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
